If you are getting married for the first, second or third time, wanting a commitment ceremony or renewing your wedding vows, this is a great way to not only help a worthy cause but to have your dream wedding without spending your life savings.
This is made possible by sharing the expenses with other couples and running back to back ceremonies which are all unique to each couple. The ceremonies are then followed by a formal sit down dinner with amazing entertainment.
Our aim is to raise much needed funds for Hope Cottage and to assist all couples in making their wedding truly Eventful.
The idea for Hope Cottage was inspired by Chaianne, an eleven year old, who was diagnosed in March 2004 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia M5 and also suffered countless strokes. After undergoing exhausting and grueling chemotherapy for four months and then a bone marrow transplant on 9th July 2004, the founder of Hope Cottage felt there was a very real need for somewhere that we could escape to and recover from some of the ravages that they, as a family, had suffered.
Hope Cottage is the ideal way for families going through this nightmare to escape for a while and recharge their batteries. Hope Cottage is a facility that will provide a holiday retreat, a ‘getting away from it all’ time, so that families can catch their breath and regroup.
Families need time together to regain their closeness and fighting spirit that does become a little strained during the stressful times of treatment, hospitalisation etc. They need time alone together and away from the distractions that often occur during their short stays at home.
This event will be exclusive to ten couples for each location
